A word from our PTA chairperson
Jo Perry

Nau mai, haere mai!
At Turitea School, our PTA is a group of friendly, dedicated whānau who work together to create fun, meaningful experiences for our amazing tamariki.
We’re here to support the kura through fundraising, and to help build strong connections between our school, our families, and the wider community.
We love bringing people together, whether it’s through fun events, fundraising, or simply lending a hand. Our PTA includes three elected roles: a chairperson, treasurer, and secretary, chosen at our annual AGM. But everyone is welcome, whether you’d like to join the committee, help out now and then, or just share a great idea!
We value every contribution, big or small. Even if you can’t come to meetings, there are plenty of ways you can get involved, like doing a small task from home, sharing your skills, or giving a hand during a school event. We know your time is precious, and we appreciate whatever you can give.
Whānau involvement is at the heart of what we do. Everyone is welcome so come as you are, bring your ideas, and be part of something that helps our kura thrive.
If you’re curious, have questions, or just want to kōrero, feel free to chat with any of our friendly PTA members. And don’t forget to follow us on Facebook to keep up with what’s happening!
