Here’s hoping this weekend’s weather is a bit kinder than the last two. We were lucky at school that we didn’t lose any trees or otherwise, but I heard from a lot of the kids that the same can’t be said for some of you!

Just like that, we are another week down whānau. It has been a cracker of a week with some massive temperatures, making our aircon units work overtime!

Well just like that ‘Week One is Done’ and I’ve survived my first week as a principal and I’m just loving my new role out here!

What a beautiful day for our first day of the new school year. It was a real shame to not welcome our new students and staff this morning with an official pōwhiri, but it was nice to meet a lot of you yesterday at our Korero Mai and today on drop off. 

Welcome back to what we hope has been a wonderful summer for you and your whānau. Team Turitea are all feeling refreshed and ready to go for the 2022 year and are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Tuesday 1st February from 8.30am.
